Dr. Steven C. Harper - Co-Founder and CEO
Steve is a leading scholar of Joseph Smith's First Vision and his later revelations, and he's the only guide in the game with over 20 years as a professor of Church history, 10 years as a volume editor of The Joseph Smith Papers, and 6 years as the Managing Historian and a General Editor of Saints: The Story of The Church of Jesus Christ in the Latter Days. Steve earned his PhD at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and wrote his first book about the history of the colony.

Scott Salvesen - Co-Founder and COO
Scott hails from South Africa. He frequently visited the African veld with his family and gained a passion for the outdoors. He moved with his family to Utah as a teenager, earned a BS in Exercise Science and Outdoor Recreation from Utah Valley University, and graduated from the University of Florida with an MS in Tourism and Recreation Management, concentrating in Natural Resource Recreation. His thesis evaluated businesses in the ecotourism sector based on visitor interaction, host community relationships, and proper business practices. For his day job, Scott works with troubled teens in adventure therapy.
Scott is the co-host of the popular LDS podcast Family Bro Evening, and brings a wealth of travel knowledge and experience to our trips.
